its recommended to have 2/3 water, 1/3 land. i have gravel on one end with a fake log to help hold it up and a couple bigger rocks on the gravel so they can get out of the water. they seem to like that. then the other side is their swimming area.

if you have just all water how are you going to feed them? they eat crickets and they will drown in the water. I'm new to FBT so this has just been my experience.

i have more of a 3/8 land and a 5/8 water type deal. it is better than water because the frogs are not supposed to eat in the water.

this is what i did: i went to lowes and got a peice of plastic cut out to however wide your tank is and about 2 1/2 inches high and then i glued it to the tank, filled the 3/8 part with all gravel and put some fake plants, 3 things of bamboo i got from a wedding, and a log on it, and the rest water with a plant in the water. Heres a pic. that is an old pic. now i have the gravel switched with the water so they have more water room.
