It is silly to have the glass cut prior to installing the glass tracks.

Of course the glass did not fit, so now I am frantically trying to figure out what to do with 2 lizards and 1 working cage for a day until the new glass is ready. That is what I get for trying to minimize the time. lol.

The next time this will all go faster, but the cage building process takes much longer that I expected. I am still slightly concerned about the fumes inside the new cage as well, though they seem to have been helped by "baking" the cage over the weekend. I needed to make sure I could get the proper temp gradient for my Uro. The high heat seems to have helped the fumes dissipate, luckily.

Well, the glass and the new Uro arrive on the save day... this could get interesting...

If the glass was too big you can have it trimmed or even sanded down. Also, make sure you put the deep section of glass track on the top of the cage. Many people do the opposite and then the glass won't fit in.

Those large plastic storage boxes work great for temporary cages. Be very careful to hang your heat lamp away from the plastic edges. A friend of mine even used to keep several groups of Bearded Dragons in large cardboard boxes but that would make me a bit nervous.

Are the fumes from Liquid Nails or polyurethane. If it's the urethane, was it oil-based? If so that really can take a long time to cure completely.
