Hi D,
I can't give you any advise on the first one. To me it looks like a dark normal. But I have never seen a dark Miami baby. I have seen only a few Miami hatchlings and they where very bright colored.
The second one is no Motley. It is an awesome corn. It is a zigzag some kind of Amel. Very nice.

I agree with Marcel. The first one looks like a normal and the second one, although it appears to have a motley/stripe type affect on its upper back, it has a checkered belly so is not a motley. I would say that the pattern on the back is the result of the zig zag affect.
first looks maybe het lavender with aztec in it's past
second amel is an aztec....nice enough one too......
......unless it's a striped motley....patterned belly?....aztec....white belly?..motley cross.....

Thanks very much for sharing your opinions on these two. The sire is a very orange amel out of a creamsicle x amel. The dam is an aztec normal(het amel, anery, hypo, stripe). Any chance that the first snakeling is some sort of anery?....Is it the brownish centers in saddles that say "normal" or is it something else? (The saddles are very dark unless he is in direct sunlight--pic below.) Or is it impossible for the sire to be het anery?
Thanks......
David
