why are pastel females higher than males in classifeids??/

Don't understand this unless it's just because breeding season is upon us.....

You only need 1 male to make pastels but you NEED females to make supers. If males were more expensive, everyone would have 5 female pastels, make their own males and have a TON of supers the next year.

It all boils down to supply and demand though. The supply of females available to the public is lower than males (because so many are holdbacks) and the demand is higher. Therefore, the price is higher.

FEMALES ARE USUALLY MORE EXPENSIVE ESPECIALLY FEMALES AROUND BREEDING SEASON BECAUSE THEY ARE THE EGG LAYERS EGGS=$$$$
