DOES HE LOOK PINHEADED???

biggworm Oct 11, 2004 11:08 AM

My w.c guyana male whome I've had for two yrs is parasite free.I feed a medium to lrg rat weekly, however he never seems to fatten up just longer.Int he pic he has just defecated and shed no less than a hour ago.Are male boa's just built that way they don't fatten up,till they get older?Or is it just that he's going through a weird GROWTH spurt right now?Your comments will be appreciated.Thank You.

I think alot of the boas you see posted are obese .. males in general have a long slim body , the females definately pack on the weight in a different way. Gorgeous snake .. keep up the good work !

I think he looks very healthy...much better than a lot of the fat a$$es that some of these guys have. If you don't overfeed them, boas usually get don't start to really fill out until around 2 or 3 years.
