Back home - HEY TINLEY PEEPS!!!!

bloodpythons Oct 11, 2004 02:00 PM

Augie, Kevin, Carole, Rich, Ryan, Blake, Terry and anyone I'm missing (I apologize - I HAVEN'T slept since then)...

It was really great to see some familiar faces as well as new ones. I absolutely had a blast speaking to each and every one of you, and wish we could have spent more time hanging out (shows are just so hectic).

I really appreciate all of the fabulous folks I've met through working with bloods - very down to earth peeps who just love their snakes, and it's so awesome...what a thrill!

You are all rock stars!

It was a great time. That Auction was a trip...

The little royals I got from you are doing great (as I expected!).

Kara..
Thanks for everything you did for me at the show, I had a blast. I was so busy with everything going on we never really had a chance to talk about your Borneos...They were awesome!!As soon as I make a little room I'll be getting one....or two( you know how bloods are)..

Talk to ya later,
Terry

Glad to see you made it home in one piece!

Girl, you're so freakin cool!! I'm still kicking myself for not finding a hotel that was closer, I would loved to have talked to everyone more...namely you!! You just seem like a 'trip and a half' kinda gal! By the way, the hair looks great!

To anyone else reading...Tinley was a blast! The animals that we see posted on different forums are NOTHING compared to seeing them in person! I was finally able to see an albino blood in person..and thanks to kara...was actually able to hold one. He was just so....scrumptious!! Beautiful enough you could just eat him up! Their coloration reminds me of a Push-pop. Ya know, the ones that had the flintstones on the wrapper? Maybe I should quit while I'm ahead.....hehe.

The people in this hobby are simply awesome, and I was so happy to finally put some names to some faces! I would LOVE to sit down in a room with these people and just listen to them talk...there is so much to learn, and everyone seems more than happy to discuss their critters.

Well I'll quit rambling....in short, the show was awesome, the animals were KILLER, and kara is cooler than originally assumed

And danced the sky on laugher-silvered wings...
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
Wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence"
