So many things to be thankful for and even tho' my new camera was swiped, I'm doing my best with the old ... the red belly, whom I just helped shed, is doing great. As Pierson indicated earlier, it may not be wise to mix species so the male in the photo was removed from the cage shortly after. The banded (also female) is as perky as ever. This point made because while taking the next picture, she took a solid snap at me not out of anger but I think, just to show me she could!

This young pictiventris is feeding well on a diet of mice and fish. She shed two days ago. In fact, all are shed/shedding and I will endeavor to provide photos of others as time permits.

That erythrogaster is a BEAST! Have you measured her? I'm glad to hear you seperated that male from her...we really don't want any hybridization occurring. Ew.

Nice fasciata too...do you have a full body shot?

The red was over 5 feet a few years ago, I have'nt measured her since. I'll check into it pretty quick. I have to get my lighting and background right to offer full body shots that render correctly. This particular snake (like the yellow) is very dark though her pattern/colour is smashing, the ivory white "rings" inparticular.
Problem with using a movie camera is that I have to go through the film frame by frame, very tedious.
Know where I can get some pictures of mangroves and marsh snakes and?... hey, that's right ... I'll post some soon! I'm so happy!

Those pics are from video huh? I bet that is difficult. You need to track down that camera!

And five feet is ginormous. I've never seen a Nerodia that big.
