I'm thinking of using corn-cob bedding for my ig... anyone have any special reasons not to or comments????

you shouldn't use a particulate substrate as it can be ingested, ESPEICIALLY corncob, as it will absorb moisture out of the iggies intestines and could easily cause impaction. also it is very drying. my suggestion would be to use indoor-outdoor carpet that you can just wash so it ends up being really cheap to use.

I agree with the other poster, corn cob bedding is not a good option for iggys. Personally i use newpaper or tile in ozzys cage and this works well. Very cheap and easy to clean up. And totally safe for the iggys. Tami
We have fake tile in Tiny's enclosure and to clean up ANYTHING is a breeze.
