(PICS) Apology accepted Draybar...

carl3 Oct 11, 2004 06:14 PM

now if you can only STOP posting pics of your Everglades...I really want a pair now BUT I don't know much about them. I read that true everglades are not as common due to other ratsnakes co-existing in their range and breeding with them. Also, what do baby everglades look like? I assume they're not that orange in color as babies.
Anyway..here are 5 BAIRDS PICS of 3 outta 4 of my bairds...two of which are related to Draybars >>>> ENJOY!

And this is from last month @ 14 months old...

As far as husbandry, they can be kept just like a black rat snake.

This one is Dwight Good stock.

Glad you had the time to shoot a few pics.Great looking bairds.

TravisG Oct 11, 2004 10:20 PM

Glades care is the same as the rest of the obsoleta's, and I keep them with the same husbandry as my bairds. You are correct in assuming that they develop their orange color as they go through their ontogenetic (sp?) changes. Here are pics of one of my glades as well as a baird since eveyone seems to like these now

I was just wondering how that beauty was doing. Haven't seen a pic for a while. When you get a Glades with good color, they are hard to beat!
That Bairds is grand as well. I love all of that red coming through. Nice, nice animals. I'm suitably jealous.

Thanks Mark, that glades had a partner that was nearly his equal a couple of years ago that didnt make it, was a sad day. His mate should be ready to produce this next season though, finally.

I can't get over how much color they have.
Those are going to be screamers.
