Downgrading cage size- msg

koashmar Oct 11, 2004 07:45 PM

Will my 2 ft corn be totally depressed if I downgrade him from a 48"x12" 55g tank to a 30"x12" 20g tank (it's a 20 long if that makes any difference)?

He'll be losing substancial height and length, but he really doesn't need that size and I really DO need the tank for something else.

What are your thoughts?

That's plenty of room for him...at least for quite some time.

I have a 26" licorice stick black rat in a 20 long, and a 24" black rat in a 29 gallon (same base size as a 20 long, just taller). They seem happy..however I do have climbing stuff in there for them also.
