absolutely awesome, do you get intimidated by these animals, i know the strengt of a 4-5ft monitor i could only imagine what he is like, good luck, and watch your extremities.

Hi,
Most definately. Especially the biggest male, as he is becoming quite the intimidating looking thing. But they are superbly good natured in terms of my presence. The are cb and I raised them from babies. I could go up and put my fingers a millimeter from their faces at any time and they don't even flinch and will basically shut their eyes and go to sleep. But they always flinch as soon as they are touched for the first time. It's always at that time that the croc hunter (me) jumps like a little girl.

thats good though, nothing wrong with a good healthy fear of something that large and capable im tearing you a new one, kudos to you man, they are too much for me.

Absolutly great looking Croc Monitor ! My oldest male is about a year and a half old, and just over 7 feet now. My female is a bit smaller. Both are just incredible to work with. They are very placid, and eat from my hand (not literally, but you get the point). My friend Jimmy and Doug own D and J Reptiles here in New York. Jimmy's brother Danny worked with Duncan McRae of Herpfauna Indo to establish a really awsome breeding colony of Crocs. All my Crocs and all my future Crocs will be from them. I am just curious to know if the new owner of Herpfauna Indo will keep the quality the same. I heard the new owners are from Germany.
