Ok, I have hopefully bred my two big females with my salmon male. The second female seemed to be swelling and ovulating the whole time breeding was going on, very different from my first female who seemed to go through individual steps of the process. My second female, is now going into a shed, and here is my question...My first female has not even started to blue at all. The only thing I noticed is she has gotten very shinny skin. I have heard somewhere that on rare occations boas may not shed post ovulation. Is that true? Has anyone had this before? She may still go into a shed, but it sure looks otherwise. If you have seen or heard anything about this let me know. I was hopeing for the shed so I could try and calculate the birthdate. Thanks Andrew Federico
