Amazing that the Leucistic Texas rat snake is such a beautiful snake and yet just all white. Here's a pic of a leucistic Texas rat snake that Dwight Good produced. Didn't you have a w/c normal Texas rat snake collected in the same locale where the leucistic gene originated? Now where's a pic of that great looking w/c female Texas rat snake you have Travis?

Those two pics are what they should look like.
I can't stand the "buggeyed" lucistics. They just don't look right.
The two you guys pictured look great!!

That is unfortunate that there are "bug eyed" Texas rat snakes that are produced from breeding Texas rat snakes having the leucistic gene. Breeders haven't been able to get away from it. The bug eyed leucistics can pop up anytime is my understanding. I imagine that all the leucistic Texas rat snakes trace back to the original w/c leucistic gene.
