Pastel is like Tiger in retics in that the homozygous form is different than the heterozygous form which is also not normal. There is a debate as to if co-dominant or incompletely dominant is the best term for that type.

Spider appears to be completely dominant but until a homozygous spider is confirmed through breeding we will not be sure that the homozygous spider looks just like the heterozygous spider.

Technically mojave is yet to be determined. It looks like the homozygous mojave will probably be leucistic and hence the mutation will be considered co-dominant/incompletely dominant.

Have there been any Piebald morph combos? Like a Carmel Albino Piebald. Now that would be nice. Piebald at least have been around for good amount of time. I know these are elementary questions but I am new to morphs.

I'm also interested in knowing how long Piebald Ball Pythons have been around. Is there an online history? Who first proved them? When? How? Etc?

What about Clown Ball Pythons?

(Can you tell what my two favorite morphs are?)

Go to Pete Kahl's website, he is the first to prove out the pied & they have an article there giving all the info you asked for.

The Barkers were the first to prove out the clown, and clowns have been around for at least nine or ten years.
