Sorry for posting so much ... (3rd post in 4 days !!!) always the same with a new pet though, you can gain so much info before getting them but then alwyas have more Q's when they come along.
Just a quicky .. last night whilst feeding my fish I had a sardine left, so I cut it in half and threw it in with the tegs .. the female immediately pounced on it and ate it in seconds ... much more quickly than she does with mice !!
Is there anything wrong with giving them fish occasionally? (I'm thinking oily fish, lots of omega3 fatty acids, low in cholestrol)
They seem to have very cosmopolitan appetites eating all fruit and veg I've offered thus far, mealworms, mice and now fish.
Whilst I'm here I may as well ask another question ..
how much should I feed them? Can I over feed? The seem to eat anything that I put in the viv ...
cheers
carl
