Hi Guys;
Heard in the news (up here in Canada) last week that a 12 year old was attacked & killed by a 3 metre Alligator in the Dead River in Florida, was wondering if anyone in here had any info on it??

Its sad but this kind of thing will and does happen when you live with these animals. I guess though some kids were swimming all day and saw the alligators and got out but when they "went away" they got back in the water. This kid's friends saw the alligator that attacked him and were telling him to get out but the kid didnt. Witness's saw the gator with the boy in his jaws a few minutes after the attack. After the attack authorities killed at least seven gators in the following days. The one that attacked him was estimated to be 10 ft long.
