Incubator question...

Andrew_Myers Oct 12, 2004 02:46 PM

Yesterday I was at tractor and farm supply co. and saw a foul incubator called the Little Giant for $37. Would this suffice for turtle eggs? Thanks,

Andrew

It should work, it looks similar to the Hovabator. But it does have a premade holder for chicken eggs, you would have to get rid of that.

Thanks for the info. That's kind of what I was thinking too.

I have used the exact same one since '00. I've used it for spotteds.. and now redfoot torts.. be sure to use at least 2 thermometers.. and watch the thermostat.. once you get it set it will work fine. Remember to open everyday to allow 'fresh air' in for a few minutes.. temp will regulate fine.

BTW.. what are you expecting to incubate?

You gotta love 'em!
