My dragon is very young. He will not open his eyes, and one eye is very swollen. He is also not eating and he is sleeping a lot.

I suggest you take him/her to the vet As Soon As Possilbe.

If you don't know what could be causing it then just take him to the vet.

I agree get to a vet tomorrow (wed morning). It doesn't take long for things to go downhill fast in "very young" beardeds. The lazyness and lack of appetite could be dehydration, lack of UVB exposure, or other things including parasites. The eye could be irritated or infected. Crickets will chew on the eye area of dragons if they're left in the tank overnight.

If you can't get to a vet tomorrow, I use a mixture of 50/50 pedialyte & gerber vegetable chicken dinner baby food. If you or the previous owner didn't have a good UVB bulb on the dragon, add a pinch of calcium w/d3 to the mix. You can feed this to the dragon with an oral syrringe by placing a drop on the dragons nose... it should drink it without a problem.

If it doesn't drink after a couple of attempts, I usually flip the dragon upside down on my palm. When they turn back over, they're usually more alert and start to drink. Their mouths are pretty delicate, so you don't usually want to try to force their mouthes open.
