As I understand it, gout is a condition of fatty deposits in the liver caused by improper diet...

Gout is deposits of urate crystals around the joints (swollen joints). I've heard it could be caused by dehydration or improper diet.... doesn't seem like a lot is known about treating it in reptiles from what I've found.
If anyone can recommend medications they've used successfully, I'd like to hear about it. I've tried allopurinol (sp?) without any success.
I think in this case, it could have a lot to do with genetics because she's had a proper diet, adequate humidity/water and proper supplementation.
