Where to buy feeders cheaply????

PerryC. Jun 28, 2003 08:00 AM

Hello all...I was just wondering if anyone has a site that does not overpower the affordable price of frozen mice and rats with their ridiculously overpriced shipping and handling charges. I understand that dry ice is needed to keep the critters frozen and that a styrofoam box is also often used...but shipping should not cost that much...I have seen some that charge $40.00 I want to purchase quality food for my pythons, but would also like to be treated as fairly on the shipping as I am for the animals. Anyone have ANY sites that offer fair shipping?? Please help if you can.

rodentpro.com has fair shipping costs. I live close enough that I can just go and pick my feeders up at their location, but I have had them shipped to me once when I didn't have time to pick up.

This is just one of the reasons that I breed my own. Also, I know what they eat, how healthy they are, etc. Check out what town the breeders are in, maybe you can find one close to you. If they don't advrtise here, find out who breeds for the local pet stores or zoo.
