another problem

Thanks John for the cup feeder idea. I thik it is going to work out well. We have it made, just have to put it in. Now our new problem is, we have his drip system set up to drip on his pothos plant. The only problem is, instead of licking it off the leaves, he is just eating the leaves, which make the water drip onto nothing, and we have to move it down to the next leaf still in tack. If he keeps this up, he'll have plant left and nothing for water to drip on. And he doesn't really pay attention to it when it drips on fake leaves. Now my question is, does it have to drip on leaves? I don;t know what else it could drip onto, but I remember someone mentioning somehting about a stone that had alittle hole in the center that caught the water. Any suggestions would be great

In my opinion, there is no good substitute for a green moist leaf for your cham to drink off of.
None of my cham species ever munched on leaves, so I can't speak from experience. But; I usually have 6 plants for each eclosure. I keep 2 in the enclosure and put the other 4 outside in the sun to recover. I rotate the plants every few weeks when they start suffering from over watering etc. (brown leaves, leaves fall off)
So, this routine might work for you.. keep 2 extras on hand in a place to recover, and when the one that is in the cage gets too chomped up, take it out, and put a fresh one in.
