Hi,
I went out saturday night with a friend. We got to whitewater at about 7:45-(temps were good too, probably upper 70's) we stayed there for about an hour or so, then went to snow creek for a little bit, then stopped at verbenia, left there around 10, so we were out for a couple hours, but saw nothing at all. Sept.17th, on my way home from a birthday part in palm desert we stopped in verb. for about 30 minutes, we saw a nice sub adult rosy female, got soem pcis then walked her off the road a ways to a nice rock pile, but thats the latest I've seen one out.

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the info. I may take one last road trip out there this weekend. I'll let you know if I go.

Hey, don't go so far out, Riverside/Corona areas are doing okay right now! Tuesday I saw three Rubers(two neos and one adult female), one neo king, and a yearling rosie. Whitewater is not really productive this late in the year. Good luck!

I have been out in Riverside areas and Corona areas and have seen quite few Neo Rubers and Kings,Gophers and a Longnose in the last 2 months.

I am getting the urge to cruise the desert because of the month that is and weather being like it is just one more time before the winter months.
All you herpers know the feeling. lol!

I may hit this weekend.

I've been cruising out in the desert the past 2 weekends and have managed to spot a nice 3ft red diamondback, 1-baby sidewinder, 1-adult sidewinder, 1-baby glossy snake, 1-baby lyre snake, 1-nightsnake and a baby longnose. All were found between 8:45pm-10:00pm and the temps where in the low 60's.
