Anyplace it's Dark and tight fitting. Under dressers/beds is a favorite. Look on the ground level, usually they don't climb.

Shut off all of the lights and close the blinds, curtains, etc. Next get a flashlight and starting in the room where you lost your snake, start in one corner look behind, under and in everything on the floor. You'll have more success if you work slowly and in a "grid pattern". I suggest the flashlight simply because it will be easier to see the snake's eyes, and skin shine in the reflected light.

Move from room to room. And take your time. People have a tendency to hurry when they are anxious and that can result in looking right past what you are looking for.

If you have a rack look under there, also around your computer, refrigerator, TV, ect. All of these give off heat to some extent and can provide some darkness.

Good luck.

It's actually not that I love or even like snakes. I just hate rodents.

this happend to me not to long ago. My ball escaped and was missing for about 14 hours while i was at work. So the second i came home i searched my entire room for him. I was smart enough to block every escapable way out of the room as soon as i noticed he was gone. Well while i was searching i tore my room apart. he could have been anywhere. well after 2 hours of searching to no avail i just happend to look right behind the aquarium and there he was trying to stay warm.
good luck trying to find him.
