i think my egg is dying/dead. it has been really firm with good color and then yesterday i noticed it was a little dry in there and added some water but he has never firmed back up. i dug it out on the 16th of sept but i am not sure exactly what day she laid it. either way it is nowhere near 40 days. 
maybe it is a sign that i am meant to buy lizards this weekend
