is it frogs that never leave the water?
-----

Yes, there are 3 major species of aquatic frogs African Clawed Frogs(Xenopus Laevis, African Dwarf frog(Hymenochirus curtipes), and Surinam Toads(Pipa pipa). These frogs have adaptted to live their entire lives in the water and cannot live on land, even though they still breath oxygen from the surface. I hope this answeres your question about aquatic frogs.
usually it refers to those that never leave the water, such as african clawed frogs (acfs), dwarf african frogs (adfs). Most other frogs such as the bullfrog spend a lot of time in water, but also sit on land, while these aquatic frogs never, ever go onto land if they can help it.
