Problem with my American Toad?

darnelldiesel Oct 13, 2004 04:03 PM

I noticed today that my American toad has been constantly blinking his right eye. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid or could that mean something is wrong??

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

The only times I've seen any of ours blink would be when they are swallowing either food or shedding. Perhaps your toad is shedding? If there is something in the eye, it should be looked at by a vet.

Good luck
