Tree Frog Diet Question

XSamX Oct 13, 2004 04:28 PM

Just curious..I'm new to anphibians. Does a fully grown green tree frog eat anything other that insects. In addition, what size crickets would be appropriate for adult tree frogs? Can they also eat meal worms? Anything else? Thanks.

What kind of frog? If its a WTF, then you can give it an earth worm once a month, and a pinkie once every 2 months. I'm sure you could also offer it kingworms or silkworms. In fact, one silkworm has the nutrition of 12 crickets! Its just hard to get your froggie to eat it!

Just let me tell you that those frogs will fit more into their mouth at once then you could think possible. I use lobster roaches for mine and they are an inch to an inch and a half. My frogs scarf em!
