Now why would someone lie about that? It must be the massive political gain that would follow. Come on. I dont know where you find these things but I havent seen it anywhere yet. What about this?.....In the debate Kerry quoted Bush as saying he wasnt concerned about Bin Laden. Bush countered by saying he had never said that. Guess what??? Fact...Fact...Fact Six months after 9/11 Bush is on tape saying he isnt concerned about Bin Laden and doesnt think about him that much. Now why lie about that?.....because it shows your an idiot.
I know that both parties are skewing facts to meet their own needs. I wish the candidates would just come out and tell us where they stand and what they'll do. Instead, all we get is a bunch of mudslinging. You may say that Bush takes a stand and sticks with it. Thats not what Im referring to. It is not his job as president to impose his own beliefs on this country. Ever heard of seperation of church and state? Unfortunately, many people in this country appear to look at this with a very simple attitude. Bush sees everything in black and white. In actuality, there is a whole lot of gray in between the black and white. As someone stated in an earlier post, politics is not just a yes/no deal. You have to look at the bigger picture. Bush and his supporters just look in the mirror. They arent concerned with the world or others in this country. They only want what will benefit them.
If you support Bush and have researched his platform and still support him, I have no problem with that. (well not entirely LOL) But if you support him just because of the simple things, please do some research first. You owe it to yourself. Most of this rant was not aimed at lilroach, just the first part. I got a little worked up after listening to Bushs campaign adviser say that he won the debate hands down. I call it a draw to each base and a 7.375 % win to the swing voters for Kerry. Sorry, I may have babbled on.

Picky much? Both men are campaigning hard. Memory is not perfection. I'm sure this (vital to national policy) question will rock the election. Who cares if Kerry said the wrong day...

More importantly...Who wants a president that refuses to answer a direct question. On Roe vs Wade Kerry answered clearly and with conviction. Bush ducked the question twice even when asked point blank by the moderator.

Because for Bush to not duck on Roe v. Wade would mean that he would have to take a CLEAR position on it, which would either alienate him from feminists in this country and all those both men and women that beleive that woman has the right to chose what happens with her body. Automatically alienteing them. No where to hide.
So, he gives answers that arent straightforward.
But gives straightforward answers against gay nmarriage, which panders to the religous right and anyone that is Christian in this country.

Personally..I think they BOTH suck.

Things wont change perceptibly in this country until we have more than these two weak *#!@$& parties to chose from. They do not represent us. Unless we live in the Hamptons.

Haveing said all that. I sincerely hope that G.W.Bush loses.
