Hello all!Everyone knows that its always good to have a few good males around! But those who know me know I am male heavy!Really heavy! So today I seen a boa at a local petstore! An jus my luck it was a female! So I offered a male up for trade an the owner jumped on it!It was one of my 100% het for albino males! But I felt kinda sorry for this female, she looked like she was starving!6 an half foot female ought to have some good weight right? So I brought her home an seperated a 55 gallon away from the rest of my collection an gave her a couple of hrs to calm down an I offered her a frozen thawed large rat an bammo she nailed it,an well I kinda thought to myself, thought this person said she was a picky eater!I came back a little bit later to check on her an the rat was gone but I didnt see an lump,so I thawed out 2 small rats an bammo she ate bothe! This person said she was so pickey she wouldnt eat a black rat an I thought this was kinda weird too cause 2 of the rats I thawed out were hooded rats an the hood was guess what color! She has a small lump in her now an I didnt want to make her sick!Should I keep her on a 7 to 10 day schedule like the rest of my collection is or shopuld she have a different feeding schedule? She has an old nose rub wound that has healed an a couple of old scars thet definatley look like a rat wound but other than that shes got a very light background with alot of speckling kinda like a het but I dont know her back ground!I can tell by the way she takes the rats that she was on frozen thawed at one time but I feel her last home was feeding her live from the couple of scars shes got!I dont know if I can get the weight on her for this year but next season will be a definate!Sorry no pics at the moment but shes prettier than my bigmamma is!But I still love my big mamma!Any ideas on feeding this new girl would be greatly appriciated! Thanks Eric[Hypoboa]
