Where to get Thiamin.

jflipl Oct 13, 2004 09:32 PM

Where can I buy thiamin/vit. b powder for frozen veggies?
Also if I just fridge the veggies would they lose thiamin?

Pet store or I'm pretty sure you could just grind up some human vitamin b and dust it with that. Thiamin is only destroyed in the freezer, refridgerating won't hurt anything.

using the multi-vitamins for reptiles a couple times a week will ensure there is enough Thiamin (which I beleive is included in the multi-vitamines). Fresh non frozen greens would be best to use as frozing greens tends to break down the cells and turn the greens into limpy mush.
