JAIL BREAK!!!

cable2001 Oct 14, 2004 07:27 AM

When I went to feed the fish in my paludarium this morning, there was a lizard on the curtains behind the tank! My littlest anole had somehow squeezed his way out of the tank. He opened his mouth at me when I picked him off of the drapes, but didn't struggle. I put him back in the paludarium, and he hid under a plant for a minute before running back up to his usual perch. I'm glad I found him before the dog did! I'll have to fully inspect the cage tonight and figure out how he got out.

Scary!

I had a moment a while back when I thought my large male anole had escaped when I was moving some stuff in his cage. Turned out he was just hiding really well, but I was panicked - I had no idea how I would find him!
