All the info that comes up is from a few yrs ago and the video was $50. Anyone know the price now if its still $50 then i cant see paying that for a VHS. I hear its very informative on breeding and im trying to get as much much infor as I can to breed my pair

I purchased the video last year. It has a ton of information but it is basically word for word from the article in Reptiles magazine from November 1996. I will say it is a good thing to have if you plan on breeding boas. But remember there are more than one way to breed boas and what works for him may or may not work for you. It is kind of a trial and error from what I have experienced.

Good luck

theres no more info in there than you would find in that article he has online. I bought that video only because EVERYONE says its so informative.... it is very badly made, sound quality is horrible... and im sorry to say, but the info is just as easily found all over the web.

I agree. I've seen the video and the quality is exactly as you describe. To boot, most of the information he gives during the tape is verbatim from the section he wrote of "the Boa constrictor Manual".

"All About Boa Constructors". I believe it's available through both Rich's website as well as the Barker's.

Yes, boas can be kept and bred under many diffirent philosophies. This video is highly informative, but worth it alone just to see so many beautiful boas.

Rich is truly a breeder who cares deeply about his animals and how they are cared for and bred. His successes are well documented.

From time to time I'll bust it out just to be purely entertained.

I have both the Barker Ball videos, which are also good...but my previous post dealt with their boa video done in conjunction with Rich Ihle.

Again....well worth the money.
