Anoles are very territorial and if you have 2 males one will be dominant and the other will not eat or they may fight. You can put a male and female in the same cage but it should be larger than a 10 galllon tank. One anole can fit nicely into a 10 gallon tank with losts of climbing branches.

You should separate them as soon as possible. The same thing happened to me, I had 2 anoles that were doing fine and I added one more then one of the original ones quit eating. From what I have read and the advise I have gotten here it is because of the dominance of the larger anole. They also need a variety of food. Make sure you have UVA and UVB lighting. Go to the anole care page in this websight (kingsnake.com) and there is lots of info there. Good luck.

I have a fat tailed leapord gecko in a 10 gallon tank and he does just fine. He will need something to climb on, hide box and a humidity hut (tupperware with a hole cut in it and soaked paper towels), lighting and water. They need the humidity to shed properly. My gecko eats crikets and meal worms but only if he sees them moving, if they just lay there he won't touch them. I guess they like the chase.
