new beardie owner

Hi guys,

I just had a few questions.

Should I cut up the greens before I feed it to them, or is it safe to give them a while big leaf.

My beardies are always running up against the side of the cage, like they are trying to climb the wall. Is that normal?

My female will sometimes put her head in the sand as if she can not hold it up. Most of the time she acts normal though. Is this ok?

Also What size crickets should I be feeding them. Their head is about an inch to inch and a half wide...

I do... I usually cut them a little smaller than the size of their head.

Yep, completely normal.

"My female will sometimes put her head in the sand as if she can not hold it up. Most of the time she acts normal though. Is this ok?"

Ya, they do weird things sometimes. I'd get her off the sand though, it's an impaction risk.

"Also What size crickets should I be feeding them. Their head is about an inch to inch and a half wide..."

No bigger than the space between the eyes.
