The_Ox Oct 14, 2004 05:53 PM

I will be travelling through central Missouri into northwestern Arkansas tomorrow night. I was hoping to get in some searching somewhere in central Missouri for half a day. I would love some tips from anyonewho has heped ther before. I will be on Interstate 44. Also- any NW Arkansas help would be great too as I will be spending a couple days in Bentonville. Thanx for any responses.

I don't live there, but I spent a few days flipping rocks in the Ozarks in early fall a few years back. Found quite a few interesting things, but you have to carefully flip a lot of rocks and logs.
Stuff may be starting to congregate near cliffs, ledges, and other such hibernacula by now.

Also, watch out for ticks! The numbers of ticks of in these forests can be extraordinary
