Lighting question-please answer

Hi, does anyone know if its safe to use the Active UV Heat Bulbs with a thermostat? Will it effectively control the temperature? I saw on a website that it wasn't supposed to be used with them, and was curious as to why and if it was true.

Has anyone used this type of bulb with their beardies? We were interested in it because it claims to provide both UVA and UVB and heat. We would really appreciate some feedback on this. Thanks.

It will fry the bulb, especially if it's a pulse proportional thermostat. Bulbs aren't designed to be turned on/off like that.
