Did you get it? I like the black ones and I want to get one. Where is that PetCo at? I might drive lol.
>>They're pretty lazy, so I'm sure that is why he wasn't active. As far as the humide hides go - I think the leo will be ok. Petco tries to sell the leo's as quick as they come in - if they had humide hides in the tanks, the lizards would hide all the time in them. If no one can see them, they won't sell them as quick. If you are interested in him, I'd have one of the store people take him out for you - or at least give him a little nudge in the tank so you can see him move. If he looks healthy - take him home. Petco has a guarantee on their reptiles... if anything happens to them in 14 days after purchase, they will take them to the vet for you (free of charge). They will also take him back within the 14 days if you decided he wasn't right for you. If you buy him and take him to the vet yourself though, it is out of your pocket. They only pay for it if something is wrong - if you complain (and even then they don't usually deworm them, so I'd suggest you take him yourself). ((incase you were wondering - I know someone who works there - hence the knowledge)) . One thing though - I know they are only $30, but if you happen to get the chance to go to a repitle show, you can get very unique jungles and stripes for about the same price. Good luck!
