Ok....Veiled Chameleon, Bearded dragons, or Red Ackies?? which one is a right guy for my taste?

I am really into those three diurnal lizards, because they are very active, great feeder, and other many reasons. ( I simply prefer diurnal lizards over nocturnal)

Veileds are very delicate even though they are considered to be one of the hardiest Chameleons. But I really like how they act, especially, hunting :D.
I personally think they are really cool "showy" animals to people(OH! don't misunderstand, my main purpose for keeping animals is to take care, not to show off)... still i think veileds are very "EXOTIC" animal.

Bearded Dragons are very mellow and sociable. I like way i can play around with bearded dragons, like handling( not to excessive though), and hand feeding.
but I heard bearded dragon's fece smells really bad......is it that bad???? I have a roomate who can't handle a smell of animal fece. (well...he handled my crested gecko's though...LOL)..
this smelling issue is kinda dumb, but it is a really important factor for me.

Ackies.......I am really glad that there is "bearded dragon" size "monitor"!!!! Oh...man...they are just marvellous creatures.

if you are in my situation, which lizard would you prefer to have?

ok first i would go with a ackie, but that is just because i prefer them over almost any lizard out their.the problem with ackies is their price though.if you look hard enough at reptile shows you could probably find a yellow ackie for about 100 bucks.second i would go with a bearded dragon since the are very personable.all you have to do is spot clean once every two days and that should elimante any bad odors.i dont know much about veileds so i cant help you their.
hope this helps

I don't want to confuse you, but there are plenty of medium sized diurnal lizards that look cool and are at least relatively easy to keep.

What about a blue-tongue. They get my vote over beardeds, and I keep and breed both. They do not need live food and smell a lot less. They are active and diurnal but most active in the evening, i.e. when I'm at home. Beardeds are only really active during the day proper, and are very quiet in the evening. Also, they are very docile and easy to handle.

If you want to have something that chases live food what about a plated lizard (Gerrhosaurus)?

I really like beardeds, but there are other options...

Cheers,
Mark.
