Hey guys. I haven even had the heart to visit this page let alone post since Messenger passed away. It is still hard but I try to stay focused on the Ig I still have, Freddie. I just thought I would post this new poc of him for giggles.
This is how Freddie likes to eat his food, all sprawled out:
Hey there, good to hear from you! I am so sorry about your loss. Freddy looks great, though... my iguana eats the same way, in fact he will dangle from a higher ledge in his cage so that he is almost vertical, if there's food on the lower ledge.

Forest sits over his plate of food like he's guarding it. Funny thing is we don't have any other pets to guard against! We have 4 snakes in the snake room out back but Forest never sees them but he'll hunch over his food like "It's MINE! Go Away!!!"

Hye guys, thanks. I don't think I will be as "regular" as some of you on here..... but I still do and always will love Igs.
My young guy is now 2 and is a little huffy still. He loves showing off and is very good at telling us when he doesn't want to be handled. I love him, it is just that he is so different than Messie and I have a hard time when I want him to be calm and cuddle with me like Mess did and all Freddie wants to do is run. *sigh* All Iguana's are different and I respect that, I just don't think I will ever find another Messenger.
