and their great! As the post above said, they seem to be much more docile then their cousins, they move much slower and gracfully, naturally tame. I house mine in a 15 gal, bed-a-beast as a substrate (I've used this for years, no problems, works great dry, and wet, holds moisture for a long time), a humid hide, a rock looking dry hide, a water dish, a rock, and a couple of fake plants (this is one of the few "naturalistic" cages I have). They are generally smaller then leopard geckos, and you can easially house a pair in a 10 gallon tank with all the cage furniture required. African Fat-Tails are great, if you like leopards then you'll love them.
