well what is your ig's most unusual food they have tried ot eat?

today i had a little spot of tabasco that had just dripped onto my shirt. then tiny tried to eat my shirt ehre the tabasco was!

then he tried to eat the writing on that shirt also!

Ugh...sunny tries to eat everything. Unfortunately, she really digs the taste of cat food. And while the catfood i buy is top quality for the cats, it is really bad for the ig. She has also tried to eat my little bird too. Maybe because she is bright green, or maybe just for the sport...

Well I guess Sunny is feeling all better now. She even wants a little birdie So now that the wedding is over everyone (animals) are all doing good because you don't have a million things to do right? So how is married life?

The *only* time Xander has ever bit me was the time he climbed up to my shoulder and first tried to eat my shirt, them my bandana, and finally, my ear. I had some fruit scented body spray on, and we think it confused him. He let go right away, but it sure did bleed!

He also ate one of my birds' down feathers a few weeks ago. It was on the floor, and I thought he would just leave it alone. Nope! Lick, and it was in his mouth. I tried to get it out, but he ran away. By the time I caught up with him, the feather had disappeared down his throat.

He's just fine, though

I forgot this, but the last time he was at the vet we had him sitting on the shiny examinating table. The tech had just weighed him and we were waiting for the vet to come in. Xander was walking around on the table and he could see his blurred reflection in the table. The reflection wasn't good enough to look like another iguana; it was just a green blur. And, well... he tried to eat his reflection. It was very funny watching him walking around, turning his head to the side and trying to eat his own reflection.

Chaos tries to eat everything. He tried to eat a rabbit. He wanted to eat Sarahs ferrets while they were here. Also lately he's been wanting toes and fingers. The funniest thing is when there is food in the living room and he smells it he comes running in. He has attacked a whole sandwich and almost got my cheeseburger. He's really not aggressive, but lately he's has been edgy.I think he's still stressed from the storms.
The other iggys just eat regular iggy salad and don't care for trying to eat other stuff.

Mine thinks newspaper is some kind of leaf and laps at it before I take it away.

I love reading this stuff. A few weeks ago, my iguana ran across the top of my couch, and jumped into the paper recycling box. He slid over a cereal box and immediately tried to bite the front of another box. It was an Italian Ice box, and it had a photograph of cherries on it! We tried it later, and he still tried to eat the photograph cherries. Poor 'guana!
