I have heard horrible things about impaction on here and I know thats not the problem with Homer. He is on shelf liner, has perfect temps and UVB light, eats small crickets and silkies, and has no problem moving around. The problem is he hasnt pooped in almost 36 hours. Usually he goes twice a day and they are big!!

He has been eating normally all day yesterday and today (lots of crix and silkies, plenty of veggies). I even gave him a bath yesterday and still nothing. Hmmm....I wonder if it has anything to do with him hiding a lot lately too.

Any ideas?

Might just be saving it up to leave you a BIG present lol. Sounds like you're doing everything fine, sometimes they just skip a day.

I've had mine wait for weeks and then pass on a big reward.

Hades does that from time to time.

He eats all his veggies everyday and gets treats about 2 times a week (crix and wax worms on occassion).

Then he won't poop for awhile.

He loves saving it up and leaves me a big surprise in the middle of the day. He thinks its funny but I do not.
