at the top of the uromastyx main page there are three links. i would recommend reading their care pages and the care pages on kingsnake. uros definitely need more than beardie pellets and romaine. just for example, helga eats peas (just in moderation), mustard greens, escarole, squash and zucchini. their diets should mostly consist of leafy greens and everything else is for flair. you can feed some pellets and some people leave dry 15 beans soup mix in there too (dry beans only for adults). perhaps your uro is not shedding because she is not getting proper nutrients. do you have her temps and gradients correct? like i said read all those links and they will give you a good idea of housing and food requirements

NO ROMAINE and get off the commercial diet. Feed your uro fresh greens like collard green, endive, escrole, turnip greens, some fresh vegis like squash, green beans(not to much) sweet potato, parsnip. Food like this will keep a uro happy and healthy. You can also give some seeds (which mine hates) and give some lentils. You'll see a happy uro.

Educate yourself, you'll be much happier. Go to Deer Fern Farms and read Doug Dix's Care Sheet and other info. If you do you'll be twice as smart as fifty percent of us on this forum.
