Scorpions?

c0ldbl00ded Oct 15, 2004 06:10 PM

Hi, I'm new here. I purchased a Savannah monitor six months ago at an event... cute little thing. Looks kinda shady, though.

Does anyone feed their monitor scorpions? If so, at what size did you start feeding them to your monitor?
How big were the scorpions and what kind? How bad of a reaction do they have, if any?

good day

Mike

In captivity stick with what works, mice, crickets, roaches, quail, chicken peeps. In the wild there are many many scorpions where they live, here there are not. In the wild they eat whats available to eat not whats best to eat.

I don't mind the cost... I'm trying to diversify the diet. I just don't want to kill my animal by accident.

Thanks, though.

Mike
