It's not a stupid question. But it is hard to give you the answer you're requesting. Beardies shed at a different rate & age. It varies greatly from one to the next. An example: Let's say a clutch of 20 eggs all hatch the same time. They will not all shed at the same time. It wouldn't be unusual to have SOME of them shed at the same time, but not all. Does this make any sense? It's kinda hard to explain.
But I hope it helps.

yes...thank you. i think i've become a neurotic owner. i should have researched a little more because i am finding i may have been told some "half-truths" from the breeders i talked to (see post about "no crickets needed"
at the show. i've only had (what i think is a she) for two weeks and i'm worried that i'm not doing the right things for her.
Hello,
It really does depend on the beardie (specifically haow quickly the beardie grows). As a hatchling a beardie can shed every few weeks. You will notice the beardie's skin start to turn white. You will also possibly notice he/she will eat less during this time. It is nothing to worry about. You can help your along by soaking him in warm water every night (warm not hot). This helps him shed as well as keeping him hydrated.
