HELLO, I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU. THERE IS SOMETHING WIERD GROWING ON MY GHOST WOOD. IT'S WHITE AND HAS KIND OF A LIGHT GREEN COLOR ON IT. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE MOSS, IT KIND OF LOOK LIKE IT'S MOLDING. I THINK SO BUT I'M NOT SURE. WHAT IS IT? AND WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT IT? IS IT DANGEROUS FOR MY DART FROGS AND IF IT IS AGAIN WHAT SHOULD I DO? THANKS A LOT!

Theres alot of people on this forum that will be able to tell you but they'll probably be more quicker/accurate if you take a picture and post it if at all possible.

it is mold, it happens to pretty much everyones ghost wood and I have never heard of ill effects from it.

I can't be sure without seeing a picture, but it sounds like the same type of fungus I had on my wood. I put several pieces of wood in my frog tank and it started growing after a few days but disappeared within a couple weeks.

what happens with new wood is that when your first introduce it to a humid environment the water starts to mold..however ones the wood has completely absorbed all the water the mold will stop growing.
