These eastern morphs are really something! I think there are many outstanding color morphs of niloticus yet to be seen, I started keeping several niloticus few years ago, and WOW never tot my interest in them would get this big, aim discovering new things about this group of monitors every day. I just got the Tanzanian but already I can tell they will be very good looking adults, I saw some amazing banded morphs from Zimbabwe, some nice coloured speckled from Kenya and some nice bleu from Egypt, even heard of red and black specimens! We must give this specie the recognition it deserve, IT’S A FANTASTIC VARANID that gets most of its bad reputation from peoples who should choose other animals to keep.
