I was just reading about that lazy-tongue phenomenon... I'd have to say both my veilds have "lost" the use fo their tongues (I'm not sure, but they can't seem to catch things even if they are flying around... there's much hesitation, bad aim, then a miss). I had originally attributed it to a feeder insect bite (my male showed signs of this after his meal-worm bit him one day. took him to the vet, got meds & a wash for his mouth, they did little), but now I'm suspecting MBD, as the male is about 8 months and still only 4 inches TOTAL & my female is about 6-7 inches (snout to tail)...
I thought i had all the lighting (basking, UVB, full spectrum), heating (basking light & ceramic heater for nights), humidity (~70% at optimum, tho in the last week having problems with that) & supplements correct (a few times a week, while they were eating)... what am I missing?
(the pic below is my male hanging from a 5" wide pot...he's TINY)
