Yes, but......brooksi is used to describe the light colored floridian.
3.) Of the kingsnakes which has the best temperment?
Opinions vary, but I'd say Graybanded kings. Of the common kings, I'd say any of the eastern races- Eastern, Florida, Apachicola.
4.) What are a few good things to look for when selecting a mexican black king?
Solic black and robust. Some will have a little yellow under the chin and sometimes red on the anal plate. Just look for a healthy and alert hatchling.
3.) Of the kingsnakes which has the best temperment?
I would say that they all are pretty much the same. Just depends on how much you work with your snake. With normal handling, all kings have pretty much the same temperament.
I have 2 california kings, a black king, a desert king, and a prairie king, and they are all easy going.
