Although there is much controversy regarding the taxonomic status of the families in the infraorder "Iguania," 8 separate families (not subfamilies) have been established, and this has been widely accepted (with a few exceptions).

That was a lot of good info. I have a question, though. What is a Sator? You listed it in Phrynosomatidae, and I have only heard of it listed maybe twice until now. Thanks bud, I'll be in touch.

I'm going to try to find a picture of a Sator... It seems they're nonexistent!!!
